What is a Bellows?
Bellows are flexible connection components that absorb vibration and noise. They are also known as Concrete Plant Bellows and are used in ready-mixed concrete plants. They are also referred to as screw conveyor bellows, valve bellows, cement bellows, concrete bellows, or rubber bellows. Both ends have a straight structure, allowing valves or screw conveyors to be easily connected. Rubber bellows (flexible connections) are easy to replace in case of wear or tear over time. They are connected to single-flange butterfly valves or screw conveyors.
Bellows ensure the dust-free transfer of powder and granular materials from equipment such as silos and screw conveyors to bulk tankers or trucks.
Material coming out of the silo or screw conveyor passes through the bellows and is poured into the bulk tanker. When the filled material approaches the upper limits of the bulk tanker or truck, the operator can cut off the material flow via the hand control set.
Bellows prevent dust from forming in the ambient air and ensure loss-free product filling. They provide a safe working environment with a wide range of model options.
